Building a coaching business is not for the faint of heart. Luckily, as moms, we’re designed to ride through the array of emotions that are promised to be delivered to you as you stretch outside of your comfort zone, over and over again.
It’s not only the headspace of taking on the personae of someone who is a life coach but it’s also the mind drama of riding the waves of entrepreneurship. There’s highs, and lows. Again, we’re lucky we can lean on our role as coaches and do what comes naturally to us: coach! And we can also lean on the other thing that comes naturally to us: give birth!
In this week’s podcast, I’m going to play with the parallels of the emotional map that is laid out for the typical birthing event and how this can be seen too in birthing the mom coaching biz of your dreams.

Going through old files I found a handout from our prenatal days. As per usual so many parallels between giving birth and growing your coaching biz. Even the emotional map is the same.
The first emotion sign post, excitement, and what that looks like in your biz and how to milk this phase as much as possible. You made a decision and you know that things are set to happen. You decided you are going to sell coaching services. You signed up for coaching training (which isn’t necessary by the way)). You envision the end – you’re going to have a baby. A baby coaching biz!
The second sign post, seriousness, while needed in small doses can stall your dream biz birthing process. Let’s not get too serious and add some fun to this journey!
The third sign post – self-doubt. this is where you start to feel uncertain, indecisive.
