Wouldn’t it be great to finally go for you dreams of becoming a mom coach? To finally get to work from home, close to your family’s needs? And not to mention your own bathroom?
It’s pretty amazing to get to create an income on your schedule, dive into work that’s meaningful, aligned with your core values and basically involves talking to other moms. Even from your bathroom if need be.
If this has been an idea you’ve been tossing around for a while it’ll help to learn what you can expect from this point on. And good news is if you’re reading this, you’re already half way through the toughest phase. Phase One:
Making a decision whether to go for becoming a coach dream or not.
What I’m talking about is offering life coaching services to moms. Helping them move through such common mama challenges such as creating time for self-care, reaching their creative goals and discovering strategies for simplifying busy days.
And I’m also talking about adding coaching offerings to an existing business or service. Like if you’re already a business coach, book writing coach, health coach, style coach, virtual assistant, travel consultant.
All of these services would be sweetly enhanced with some solid coaching skills to really help you stand out and your clients feel truly held.
So if you’re ready to take the leap to step into the role of mom coach and ditch the self-doubt that yes, you can indeed-y do this, and finally find the clarity on who it is you can serve on a coaching capacity, listen in on this week’s podcast to hear about the four phases you get to look forward to on this journey toward becoming a successful mom coach.

Once you get to experience all four phases you get to say ta-ta for now to self-doubt, gain clarity on who it is you serve and how to talk about what you do, earn money doing what you love and what to do to keep your coaching biz afloat.
Phase One: The Decision Making
Your friends come to you asking you for advice. You feel this is a sign you want to be a coach
You’re in a conventional job and want to explore working from home and offering coaching services is something you’re considering.
This is something that can be considered the incubation period where you’re sitting on that egg of a dream and seeing what comes up when you really get into the details of what your days are going to look like, what the work is before you sign up, researching your options.
Phase Two: Picking up and honing your coaching skills
With the conviction of yes, we’re doing this, you take the steps to fill in the gaps of what you need skill set wise to feel confident of who you can serve.
Then you get to practice. Your coaching training program will set you up with a plan to find you practice partners. And it’s beyond just a coaching session you get to practice, you fine tune your conversation skills, listening, and self-coaching ability.
Be open to gems the Universe is offering you to continously refine your expertise in your chosen niche. I’ll share what happened when I knew in my bones that I wanted to work with moms.
Phase Three: Put your coaching offering out into the world
Now you have something solid to sell. Here’s where you figure out ways that feel good to you and is effective in finding those who need this amazing opportunity to get to work with you.
Hope you’re feeling experimental because that’s what happens alot in this phase.
Here you’ll also find yourself putting yourself out there in ways that you’re not use to yet. Just like with anything it takes practice and soon you’re going to look forward to challenging yourself to show up in creative and courageous ways.
Phase Four: Getting into your profitable business rhythm.
You have a way to consistently get the word out about your biz – online or off or both – marketing.
You have systems in place to attract new clients then lovingly onboard then offboard them.
Administration practices are now solidly set up for book keeping, number tracking and building profit.
You’re not out of the mindset working on woods yet! Still you need to continue working on coaching yourself back to the big picture. For your ambition will be tested over and over again. Soon you’ll be strong like coaching ox!
And the exciting part is this is just the beginning. Because the bottom line is you can never guess where this becoming a coach journey is going to lead you to. Embrace and accept the phase you’re at and keep showing up. You’ll be all blissed-out with mom coaching biz success, before you know it.
