How to Plan a Productive (and Blissful) Mom Coach Work Retreat

How to Plan a Productive and Blissful Mom Coach Work Retreat

One of the perks of working as a mom coach is you get to work wherever you mom. This means you find yourself working from home most of the time. Close to your creature comforts.

But sometimes, this perk of getting to work wherever our loved ones are can be a double edged sword. All little too close for comfort. Creature or otherwise. So like Lenny Kravitz says, sometimes you got to get away. Or maybe fly away.

Either way, I’m going to share with you my practice of taking a mom only work retreat once a quarter and how you can too.
Hey! Did you know that there is a podcast version of this blog post as well? Same same but different different. Listen with the player below or or subscribe to the show on Itune or Stitcher to never miss an episode:

How to Plan a Productive (and Blissful) Mom Coach Work Retreat

Listen in to learn more about:

The importance of taking regular mama-only getaways so you can recharge, refocus and review your business goals and the steps you need to take each day to reach them.

All the awesome places you can experience a work retreat and how you don’t have to go very far to feel like you’re getting away from it all.

How to look at taking a quarterly mom work retreat as a business investment and how to do it with a shoe string budget as well.

One task you must ALWAYS bring on your work retreat and ideas on what else you can complete during your time away.

The reason why to keep your expectations low and your bliss levels high.

The options of bringing a friend with you who’s also an entrepreneur and combining your work retreat with a convention or conference opportunity.

Mark two to four mom coach work retreats throughout the year and keep resentment and frustration that there isn’t any time or space to deeply focus on your work at bay. As much as I have pretty ideal set-up here with slightly older kids now, a home office I love that’s tucked away from all the action – life and family stuff still sucks me out of the zone a few times a day.

When I feel a bout of the crankies creep up – I remember… oh, yeah! Mama retreat’s happening in T minus three weeks.  And I feel all blissed-out again.
