Just finished your coaching training and ready to help others overcome challenges and reach their goals? But maybe just as excited to pay off your coaching training tuition and start making clear profit as soon as possible?
Coaching certification programs pricing can run the gamut from around a thousand dollars to the tens of thousands. In Mama Bliss Coaching School, to help earn back this nothing to sneeze at type investment, I have a few steps to consider to make sure you are earning sweet profit beyond debt time.
Hey! Did you know that there is a podcast version of this blog post as well? Same same but different different. Listen with the player below or or subscribe to the show on Itune or Stitcher to never miss an episode:
First, begin with offering a coaching package for a specific struggle.
A coaching package that’s priced somewhere between $400 to $500 for four one-hour sessions. With maybe a very limited time introductory special that’s lower than that.
To keep things simple, let’s work with the rate at $500 for a four session experience. And to help you out with this process I created a spreadsheet you can download here to help you shift some numbers around.
To begin with…
Look at how many clients you’ll need to reach the financial goal of paying off your coaching training.
If your investment was (or is going to be) $5,000 divide by that $500 coaching package. Ta-da. You’ll need 10 clients.
What can then help you once you arrive at your magic number is to put up a big piece of paper up on the wall, draw that amount of stars, or whatever shape you’d like, and then colour in that amount of stars in each time a new client signs up. What I’ve done in the past is to draw stick figures, then once they signed on, I would then draw cute little hairdo and a little dress and their name on the bottom.
Another idea from a beautiful coaching friend suggested was get some candles, like little voltive candles, and at the beginning of each work day, light a candle for each of the clients who acquired until you’re surrounded by clients.
Wee bit of a fire hazard but if you’re careful should be fine.
When you’re ready, diversify your coaching income streams.
Once you have clarity on your coaching niche, who you’re working with and what you’re helping them with, start going deeper into what their needs and desires are and consider ways you can support them in these struggles in different modalities.
Begin with just one struggle of the many struggles they might be experiencing, and think of a very clear outcome that you can help them with then you can create either an ebook, an ecourse, or a workshop either in person or virtually such as paid webinar.
This way someone who really wants to experience the results that you deliver as a coach, but they can’t afford that $500 package yet, can find a more affordable way to work with you until they can. You in the meantime can have a couple of other income streams that can help you reach your income goal.
Be sure to create little score cards or stick people for these offerings as well and be sure to celebrate with each one!
Play with the math here.
And have fun with coming up with different price points and coaching-based offerings to reach this first of many income goals.
