Like many parents this fall there was much angst on whether to send our kids back to school this fall or not. While cases are relatively low in our neck of the woods, knowing myself, and the tendency of my anxiety to be triggered around cold and flu season at the best of times, virtual learning for both my kids will be on tap for the year ahead.
Immediately after coming up with this decision I felt relief. Yay, decision made! But thenCraig challenged me with what homeschooling is going to look like when we’re both busy working from home.
And then that’s when I entered phase two of making a major decision like this. The freak out.
In this week’s podcast I’m going to share how I talked myself down and how this is not only totally doable but how you can apply homeschooling principles to your biz and see it thrive too as your kids learn to navigate these unprecedented times alongside you and your own learning process.

In this 76th episode I’ll be sharing:
The moment I came up with the decision after much flip flopping to finally feel peace with the decision.
How my husband squashed that peace and how I was able to coach myself back to it again.
Coming up with the decision – on the hike. The sense of relief. Finding the quiet moments and asking the small questions then.
Why I homeschooled my daughter ten years ago and the lessons I carried over from that experience to my coaching biz today.
How the concept of unschooling inspires my business and how the pedagogy of Waldorf education co-inspires it in many ways too.
If you can make homeschooling work, you can make your at home business fruitful too. And vice versa!
