Creating an online course that’s built on your mom coaching biz is a great way to serve many mamas at the same time. Plus, it’s fun, make you more accessible who can’t afford your one on one rates and can always be used in the future as bonuses and freebies if you decided to go back to strictly coaching.
I like to recommend to start off with coaching your ideal clients for a nice chunk of time before taking the course making plunge. One of my first online offerings was a course but as I share in this week’s podcast, the process of creating it and then connecting with the students afterwards, helped guide me to decide to become a mom coach.
It’s kind of a chicken and the egg type dealio’s. But if you’re ready to move forward with a foundations course in your particular coaching niche, then by all means, go for it!

First of all, get clear on your niche before you create your course. I’ll explain why.
And when you’re ready to, it’s like your niche – choose one struggle, one outcome.
How you can use it either as a paid offering, a freebie or as a special bonus for working with you.
A course could be simple as an email sequence. A webinar with worksheets. A course created in a free platform like Teachable.
Great entry point to have others work with you who aren’t ready to pay your one on one price tag.
Consider niche dribbles!
Still considering a course? Go for it. Just get super clear on your niche, your struggles and outcomes and start talking to these mamas. Best way to do that? Through coaching. Then creating a course will be that much easier. And if you need support in this crucial first step, let’s chat.
