The Bliss in Mama Bliss Coaching Tools
These will move your clients along the coaching process to help get them from there, point A, over to the point B that you alone can bring them to.
The coaching tools are going to be the tricks you got up them sleeves of yours to facilitate a coaching session that will unearth your client’s inner knowing. It offers them ways for to remember what works for them. What they already have within them that will move them closer to their goals.
So the coaching tools that I train my students in are a blend of classic life coaching and creativity coaching tools.
The Bliss in Creative Bliss
The reason I have such a soft spot for creativity coaching is that I was really drawn to get my own training in this area because I feel, as mothers, who I love working with, we are creative beings by nature. And if we dig a little deeper, really all humans are.
We’re constantly regenerating cells. We are constantly coming up with ideas, creating something out of nothing. So in our journey toward whatever goal we want to reach, be it literally a creative project, wanting to be the best versions of ourselves possible, or striving towards an ideal life that we’ve always dreamt of, there are going to be obstacles that crop up.
Mama Bliss Coaching for some fun and expansion to happen in parts of your brain that you’re not encouraged to to access much in our very logical society.
They give you a chance to tap into other ways of thinking so we can come up with some creative solutions to problems. They give you license to get lost in that zone you often found yourself in when you were a kid. Remember when time just stood still?
That was when a lot of brain synapses were snapping with each other. The perfect storm for new ideas and creative solutions to our challenges can be born from.
Crafting Your Coaching Toolbox
Once you’re clear on what your ideal client is struggling with and you are aware of how intuitively you would guide them to reach their destination, then you can start picking from your little toolbox of coaching tools and notice or just be guided intuitively to which ones to present in your coaching sessions.
Come up with a name for each of the tools. And then when using them in a session, introduce them like you’re introducing a friend. Would you like to try out the Bliss List with me? Do you want to slip on into the boundary making birthday suit?
This will make it that much easier to access it when your client, again, is feeling weak or kind of low.
Then Use the Tools on Yourself
When you’re feeling those similar struggles that perhaps your client is experiencing in a different context, using that tool that you’re going to offer them to yourself and pay attention to which ones you love personally that you find most effective.
Include an Experiential Tools Within Each Session
Within the scope of a typical one-hour coaching session, I do some sort of guided meditation that is followed by some freeform writing and maybe some role playing if someone needs to practice an uncomfortable interaction or coming up with lists, doodling. There’s so many tools and they’re so much fun and really powerful. And it really just ups it up a notch when it’s something that you guys can both kind of get your hands dirty in.
Wrapping your mind around what coaching tools are like can be tricky to understand without getting to experience them first hand. tools are really hard to explain.
