Last week I hosted a webinar where I spilled the beans on The Five Secrets to Rock it as a Mama Bliss Coach.
The big Mama Bean?
Half of your time as a coach will be spent marketing and spreading the word of your beautiful services.
Good news is, marketing’s fun and there are strategies for everyone. And what also help is this: niching.
And yes, even niching within the niche of a Mama Bliss Coach for moms is possible. And be scroll further down below to get free download that offers you 50 examples of some niches that are the bee’s niche!
And if you are really clear about your niche within the niche of coaching moms, it will make your marketing time smoother and more efficient.
And don’t worry that you’ll be diluting who you’re serving if you niche too much. For instance, my niche is mamas who love blogging and want to start offering one on one services. Does everyone working fit that bill? Heck, no! I have had many clients who either don’t have kids or even an online presence yet.
But holding a niche in your heart, and in your marketing plan, will bring much clarity and ease and when you need them most.
So I encourage you to have fun with this! And don’t forget, you’re not getting a tattoo, Mama – a niche not be a permanent decision. Niching is something that will always be refined, so simply start somewhere!

So ways to get clarity around your biz-niche and starting to play with this idea, you might wanna begin, really hold it in your heart, what ideal client you would love to work with.
Coaching that one dream client, holding that mama in your heart can offer your offerings with a clear, takeaway result. And with that all of your sales marketing will just be that much more heart to heart.
Another great way to look at this too is to think of your best friend. It’s sometimes intangible to think of who you want to work with. That’s when I think of my best friend. She has these qualities that I find really get me inspired. I hold her essence in my heart.
There is this one fear people have is that if you really niche down, you’ll exclude a nice chunk of your potential client pool.
Fear not, your right people will come to you, even if on paper they aren’t who you’re targeting.
As I mentioned earlier, I had a mama who went through Mama Bliss Coaching School, but she’s not even a mother. Even myself, I work with a business coach who blatantly markets herself as working with yogis and I’m not a yogi. I do yoga biweekly but not professionally anymore. It was her essence, shared values and core philosophy that drew me in.
Niching offers you and your potential clients more of the essence of your work, and the picture you’re holding of how you can use your super powers to bring relief to a struggle, and perhaps the struggle can be universal. We get each other, you want to tell that to her in a very nonviolent way.
Once you have that niche dialed down, niche it down some more.
Take yourself on a customized curriculum, go to the library, get some books down on how you can become an expert. After my coaching training, I knew I wanted to work with moms, so I got a bunch of books to help moms.
Life-coaching books for moms, and really got knowledgeable on the subject. I took another workshop about niching with Tad Hargrave of Marketing for Hippies (who also happens to be the first male guest expert for Mama Bliss Coaching School) that was amazing. He has this great approach called the niching spiral, and this speaks to my heart.
When I was pregnant, I was all about the labyrinth journey to motherhood, ever since the prenatal class I took with my husband. Since then I’ve been bringing that imagery into my work, so it’s cool that Tad uses this as an analogy for niching being an ongoing process.
You just keep putting one foot in front of the other, experience it, and it often takes experimentation.
I often like the imagery of walking towards the center of my niche, my spiral, that my target audience is just a few steps behind me. That has certainly been the case, ever since I started the online business.
Trust in the process, hold that mama’s hand, and be sure to check out that download.
