Running a mom coaching business requires you wearing many hats. One of my favourite hats to wear is getting to play in Canva to create graphics to promote my mom coaching biz. I'm always in there creating a workbook, social media posts or podcast cover art. There really are so many opportunities to use the wonder that is Canva that it can sometimes get cluttered up in there. So I invited Brenda Cadman come on to share with us some pointers on how to keep it simple so we don't overwhelm ourselves, or even worse, our potential clients. Brenda is the expert to walk us through ... read more
A Simple Sales Funnel
The thing about funnels is that they have a powerful force working for them. This little thing called gravity. So if you keep it simple enough, wide on the top, skinny on the bottom, and with as little stuff obstructing it's flow, gravity works best. That's why for you mom coaching biz should be kept as simple as possible. Short, smooth and flowy. I know it can get pretty tempting with all them sexy with slick software and programs available out there with the psychological prowess of including a multitude of offers, upsells and downsells. But the truth is simple sells. Especially when ... read more
How to Get Clients Simply
Probably the most frequent question I get is how do I coaching clients. The short answer is simple. Keep your coaching business simple so that it's straight forward to explain what exactly it is you have for sale, you can show up come rain, snow or shine and you're not energetically blocking yourself from attracting more clients for fear it feels like a lot. Getting More Visible Online

A huge problem for many of my clients? Getting over the discomfort of ... read more
How to Choose Your Niche
You might think that once you choose your coaching niche, your coaching biz is going to get a lot more simple. Well, you're right. Once you've nailed down a coaching niche, and more specifically, a niche statement, the rest of the puzzle pieces that make up your coaching pieces just seem to snap into place. And while in theory that sounds simple enough, the very act of choosing can cause a lot of grief. Fret no more, choosing a niche is the struggle I've decided to become an expert at when I landed on my own niche statement: helping mom coaches struggling with getting clients. I have ... read more
Creating More Time for Your Mom Coaching Biz
I love showing my clients the way to make a full time income working only part time hours. For some that might look like a couple of hours a day as they start coaching as a side-hustle. For others, they are setting themselves up to work only during their kids' school hours, such as 9 to 2 Monday through Friday. Which happen to be my work hours. And I LOVE them. If you do the math, that last schedule's a twenty hour work week. And twenty hours a week is a nice chunk of time. Like a whole season of Ozark watching. But I get how at times it still might feel like it's not enough. At least ... read more
