Are you considering becoming a coach and wanting to look at all the different training options out there? Let me introduce you to mine. More specifically, the philosophy and approach of it that makes it unique. And maybe it resonates with you
There are six steps to my framework, and I will be going deeper into each one in upcoming blog posts, but today, we’ll do a quick review of all the rungs to this ladder of becoming a coach bliss.
Step One: Creating Space to Become a Coach
We begin with creating space not only in your surroundings but also within. As in your inner space. Like your head.
We aim to remove distractions, so that you can more easily access your intuition, your higher self, your all-knowingness. You at your most refreshed after a 15-minute power nap, what have you.
Whether you’re in my group coaching training program, Creative Bliss Coaching Academy, or if you’re working with me one on one, we begin at ground zero, which is self care decluttering your life of whatever isn’t serving you anymore and really just getting back to basics, so that we can really begin to offer ourselves an opportunity to be our own coach before we can go on and serve others.
Step Two: Creating a Positive Mindset
We then do a check in onthat inner dialogue that’s following us everywhere. Just subconciously going around in this tape recorder loop in our heads. By simply bringing awareness to what beliefs are we carry around, and then begin drenching ourselves with positivity, we can shine a light on the negative nellys in our head and banish them.
It’s time to hoist ourselves up by our big girl panties, because skipping down the coaching journey life calling is also known as starting a business. And like any entrepreneurial path, it’s a spiritual journey unto itself – meaning we are going to have to build resiliency, and with that we need to get into the proper positive mindset.
Step Three: Creating a Coaching Process
This process will be unique to you because it’s going to the one that would most make sense for you and your vision of what your coaching business is going to look like. This might look like you putting on your Nancy Drew hat for a little bit and interview some potential ideal clients to help get clear on who it is we’re serving, what sort of struggles they’re coming up with and how we’re going to help them.
Taking this crucial step is going to make the rest of this framework that much easier to implement in our busy coaching days.
Step Four: Creating Your Coaching Toolbox
This is the fun part. We get to look at all the Creative Bliss Coaching tools I have stored in my tickle trunk and you get to stuff your coaching tool box with the ones that make most sense for you and your specific dream clients. With my guidance, I’ll teach you how to use them with confidence, when to use them so you can start using them to not only support your future clients, but also yourself over and over again.
It takes practice, but with time you’ll get more comfortable with them. And with that, you’ll be gaining confidence as a coach.
Step Five: Creating Your Blissful Tribe
This is all about drawing those you want to help towards you by continuously and consistently showing up on your online platform of choice or showing up in real life if you want to get out there in your community to offer live in-person workshops and retreats, what have you.
Here we get to figure out your engagement style, consider where your tribe is hanging out and just being there for them and drawing them to you in a very organic feel-good way.
Step Six: Creating Your Coaching Biz Plan
It’s a coaching business, not a coaching hobby, right? Here we get clear on how much you want to earn each year through your coaching business and its related income streams (ecourses, books, retreats etc), then doing some reverse engineering.
We tally what you need to be making a month to reach your annual income goal. We figure out how many clients that converts to. What hours you’re going to be working and what exactly you’re going to be doing in that time that you’re devoted to growing your biz. And just as importantly, we need to make sure that you’re still balancing that work time with life time.
This framework is like a ladder with each rung being built one upon the other. Sometimes we go up a step and then we go back down. But I’ll be with you the whole way.
Hang out with me here again next week because we going to go deep in to Step One: Creating Space for Your Coaching Biz.
